Placing an Interlibrary Loan Request Using WorldCat

WorldCat is a database that consists of over 30 million catalog records and holdings information for material owned by OCLC member libraries around the world. The database is updated daily, and consists of books, journals, sound recordings, films, maps, manuscripts, etc.

HELIN offers WorldCat to our patrons using a common software interface that makes searching and requesting material using WorldCat as simple as using the HELIN Library Catalog.

Interlibrary Loan services using WorldCat are initiated using the same REQUEST function as the HELIN Catalog, but processing the request from member libraries may take two weeks.
