Placing an Interlibrary Loan Request Using ArticleFirst

ArticleFirst is a database that consists of citations from journals in science, technology, medicine, social science, business, the humanities and popular culture. The database is updated daily, consisting of over 18,000 records from 1990 to the present.

HELIN offers ArticleFirst to our patrons using a common software interface that makes searching and requesting material using ArticleFirst as simple as using the HELIN Library Catalog.

Interlibrary Loan services using ArticleFirst are initiated using the same REQUEST function as the HELIN Catalog, but processing the request from member libraries may take two weeks.
